THE POIRÉA METHOD

Less guesswork.
More understanding.

We match your answers against a documented catalogue of cosmetic products. The selection engine follows explicit rules; it does not make a diagnosis or predict your results.

Precautions come first

A known allergy, high reactivity, a treatment or an unusual sign may rule out a formula, limit active ingredients or pause recommendations. An allergy not included in our list requires a person to check the ingredients.

A selection for everyday life

Skin type, tightness, sensitivity and habits guide the ranking. The engine takes account of the skincare categories you already use and favours a short selection, with one product per step. Choosing an essential routine favours budget-friendly formats and limits targeted products.

Redness after using a product and tightness also limit targeted skincare, even if your skin generally seems tolerant. Marks or a wish for a more even-looking complexion give sun protection greater priority. Choosing a simple routine removes optional active ingredients, whichever plan you select.

Skin tone is a descriptive reference, never a beauty ranking. Undertones and age are not used to invent medical precision. Answers about your nose, eyes and mouth help put the guidance in context: cosmetics do not change facial structure.

Identifiable products, accessible sources

Each product entry links to the manufacturer for formulation and usage information. Amazon links lead to a specific product or an explicitly labelled search. Always check the variant, ingredients, seller and price on the purchase page.

We do not display “number one” rankings, customer ratings or outdated Amazon prices. Popularity is no substitute for suitability for your skin. The initial products include references from CeraVe, La Roche-Posay and The Ordinary.

The basics before active ingredients

Gentle cleansing, suitable moisturising and sun protection form the general foundations of the routine. This approach is consistent with guidance from theAmerican Academy of Dermatology. Sunscreen is applied after other skincare products.

What you can expect

Explained choices and a journal to track how your skin feels. Results and tolerance vary. A free account lets you discover up to two skincare products from your selection, with no time limit. No skin transformation within a given period is promised.

Initial catalogue documented on 7 September 2026. Manufacturers may reformulate their products: the packaging is the reference for the formulation used.
