Poiréa, your guide to choosing skincare.
Poiréa (Poirea) is an online cosmetic skincare guide for adults. It helps you compare products, understand their role and build a routine based on your answers and habits.
The same service is available in French on poirea.fr and in English on poirea.com. Pépin, our little yellow mascot, guides you along the way.
How does Poiréa work?
- Answer 20 questions about your preferences and habits. No skin photos are requested.
- Create your free account, with no card and no time limit, then confirm your email address.
- Explore up to 11 eligible products with explanations of their role, why they were chosen, how to use them and relevant precautions. The number depends on your answers and the documented products available.
You can first view an example without an account. This example uses a fictional profile; your own selection will depend on your answers.
A free account, with optional Premium
The free account lets you discover and compare your first products. Premium unlocks additional eligible products, the detailed morning and evening routine and the journal. You can stay on the free plan: help using the guide requires no purchase.
Prices and conditions for each plan are shown in the Poiréa plans. Cosmetics are always sold separately by retailers.
Explained choices, with clear limitations
Poiréa uses a documented catalogue and explicit selection rules. It provides no medical diagnosis and cannot guarantee results on your skin. Some answers may pause recommendations; Premium never overrides these precautions.
Our selection method explains the criteria and precautions. Some retailer links are affiliate links: Poiréa may receive a commission, which does not affect the recommendation score.
Who is behind Poiréa?
Elias Lotfi is Poiréa’s publication director. The publisher’s identity and contact details are available in the legal notice. If you have trouble using the guide, you can write to us through the help link in the questionnaire and your account area.
